M&A deal flow in US slows

THE US market for mergers and acquisitions has slowed so far this year as companies deal with sour investor sentiment and commodity price volatility, according to leading US oil and gas investment houses, writes Caroline Evans. Last year saw around six large deals, including Concho Resources' $9.5 billion takeover of RSP Permian, but the momentum has not carried over into 2019, Tudor Pickering Holt chairman Bobby Tudor said.
