The United States continues to be a free and prosperous nation because young men and women volunteer for the honorable and often arduous calling of military service. They need and deserve the toughest training possible because the toughest challenges may lie ahead. We owe a debt of gratitude to those who have gone before us. Their service and sacrifice must never be forgotten and should be central to our heritage training.
