The Problem: Customers complain of pedal pulsation when they apply the brakes. The Solution: Ensure customer vehicles are fitted with an ultra-premium, high-carbon rotor. When brakes are applied, the friction of the pads squeezing the rotor results in very high temperatures. This means that if brake parts, including rotors, aren't manufactured with a high carbon content and superior metallurgy, components can be subject to warping under these high temperatures. So, as economy or standard rotors are exposed to the heat of braking over time, there is a possibility for warping, which can cause that pedal pulsation customers feel.
