Growing up, I don't remember ever getting away with excuses. I learned responsibility and that regardless of the hand you are dealt, you get up every morning, you go to school or work and you take responsibility for your actions. Today, it seems like nobody wants to take responsibility for their actions and there's an excuse for everything. Then, if the excuse isn't good enough, we come up with a better one.
