当社の鉄道事業は,新宿を起点とする京王線と 渋谷を起点とする井の頭線からなり,東京都西部 地域を中心に神奈川県北部にまたがる84.7kmの 路線であり,1日約169万人を輸送している.そ の路線の調布駅付近で約3.7kmの区間(図-1,2)を 2003年度より東京都,調布市と協力し,地下化す る連続立体交差事業を施行している.%Keio Corporation has been cooperating with Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Chofu City since 2003 to carry out underground installation of a total of 3.9 km in the vicinity of Chofu Station comprised of a shield works section of approximately 1.7 km and a cut and cover works section of approximately 2.2 km. These sections have difficult construction conditions such as being directly under the tracks of all lines in full operation, narrow construction sites, large grain gravel bed and junction. At cut and cover section of Chofu station buildings, the earth retaining wall structure was built using SMW method by the special machine that was manufactured as a measure against the large grain gravel bed. And existing turnouts was underpinned for the TBM drive using PCR (Prestressed Concrete Roof) method. This report gives information about these works.
