摘要

Numerical and experimental investigations of the influence of a peniche structure on the aerodynamic characteristics of a half-model of an isolated fuselage of a passenger airplane were carried out. Numerical simulation was done of the flow over a model and the half-model by viscous compressible gas using the Navier-Stokes equations. The main reasons for the increase in the drag in the half-model with respect to the full model were identified. Recommendations to improve the basic half-model in order to reduce the total drag of the structure were formulated based on the computed data. Wind tunnel tests of the improved half-model have shown 25%-30% reduction in the drag increment with respect to the basic half-model of the original structure when the lift and momentum characteristics are in satisfactory agreement.
