2017 PERSON OF THE YEAR: JIM SHOOTER

The Person of the Year Award recognises individuals who have made major and sustained contributions to the trenchless industry above and beyond the call of duty that help develop and promote the use of Trenchless Technology. Mr Shooter encapsulates this quality with his extended engagement with industry events and publications, the majority of which takes place in addition to his normal work activities. Over the years, he has presented papers at local and international Trenchless Technology conferences, including co-presenting the first paper at the inaugural ASTT Conference in 1992. Mr Shooter is also a regular participant in the ASTT Technical Forums, as an attendee and presenter, and has contributed his work to industry publications such as Trenchless Australasia.
