Present State and Future Subjects for Track Maintenance Technologies

摘要

This paper outlines the present state and future subjects for track maintenance technologies on the subjects: (1) investigation to reduce rail defects, (2)prevention of the deterioration of ballast-tracks and development of main- tenance-free solid-bed track structures and (3)evaluation methods for track conditions and effective maintenance work to ensure safety and high-level riding comfort.
