To the Editor, Nazari Moghaddam and Rostami (2012) defense of their work is still lacking accuracy, and the issues raised in my comment are largely unresolved. Here are a few. First, they repeated their claim that the approaches of both Zhang et al. (2000) and Sheikha et al. (2006) can be employed to obtain a so-called pseudo diffusion coefficient for a convective system. This claim is totally irrelevant, since both Zhang et al. (2000) and Sheikha et al. (2006) have indicated that their approaches are not applicable when the natural convection is the dominant mass transfer mechanism such as the experiments conducted by Nazari Moghaddam et al. (2011).
