Average Speed Enforcement Cuts Casualties and Penalties

Since the introduction in 1999 of the SPECS average speed enforcement system, there have been dramatic reductions in the number of deaths and serious injuries as well as the number of enforcement tickets issued. This was the message delivered to delegates at Road Safety Expo 2007 by Geoff Collins, sales and marketing director of Speed Check Services, an ARTSM (The Association for Road Traffic Safety and Management) member.
