Impact Handling is offering a range of in-plant tractor units, following its appointment as sole UK distributor for MAFI Transport Systems. The range of distribution, terminal, Ro-Ro and heavy-duty tractors has a choice of Cummins, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo engines, plus Allison or ZF transmissions, depending on the model. They also include Kessler axles. Impact believes the T 225 D 4×2 distribution tractor will prove most popular. A 3.5m wheelbase gives optimal working space between trailer and cab - even for trailers with refrigeration units.
