Swedish refrigeration specialist Hultsteins reckons its eco-friendly hydraulic systems can cut fuel costs by up to 62% and reduce CO_2 emissions "by at least 98%", compared to diesel units. According to operations manger Simon Wood, Hultsteins truck refrigeration units also dramatically reduce noise, cut overall weight and halve R&M costs. "They also increase load space, reduce total life costs, solve working at height issues and reduce VOR [vehicle off road] times," he says.
