NH Case has marked 20 years of using Schmitz Cargobull truck bodies by acquiring a new rigid reefer for its chilled and frozen food transport operations across London. The refrigerated truck body, mounted on a 15-tonne MAN TGM 4×2 chassis cab, will predominately operate in the capital's new ultra-low emission zone. NH Case says it chose the new addition because of the body's robust build quality, which reduces repair requirements. The new truck body features Schmitz Cargobull's Ferroplast panels for increased durability, which are said to be stronger and thinner than standard glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) bodywork and less likely to sustain damage. Multivolt linear strip lamps are available in 160mm, 300mm or 600mm lengths, either switched, unswitched or PIR (passive infrared sensor-actuated) versions. Rated to IP67 and supplied with four end caps (two white and two grey). A blue nightlight option is also available.
