Several body and trailer components for bodybuilders are highlighted. First, SecureSeal, a reusable trailer seal system (pictured), has pointed out its green credentials, compared to single-use plastic seals. The product consists of a permanently mounted lock for two cables that thread around the trailer closures, whether roller shutter, barn door or curtainsider (although the latter requires extra cable). Unlike single-use products, a single unit, which does not require batteries, is said to be guaranteed for 50,000 actuations. Every closure generates a random five-digit security code that is re-set on opening. Other versions of the product include a key or datalogger. Second, a new mudflap design claims to improve aerodynamic efficiency by allowing air to pass through, while still directing water spray back to the road. Testing at Lancaster University in 2015 found it created a third less drag than standard mudflaps. Manufacturer Boydell S Jacks states that the Spraybreaker mudflap, which is VCA approved, offers 86% spray collection.
