Waitakere City Council and ONTRACK commenced a campaign to warn pedestrians and motorists to be extra careful at level crossings on the Western Line after it reopened on 19 January.rnIn New Lynn the construction work to underground the railway will eventually eliminate two busy level crossings and create at least two more crossings over the corridor which will ensure easier road movements.
