Work to narrow St George's Terrace in central Perth between William and Barrack Streets from 20 September means that buses cannot stop along this section for about three months. This affects 39 services and 10 major stops. The work is to make the area more 'pedestrian friendly'. On completion of the work, there will be only one traffic lane in each direction with bus bays. It remains to be seen how 'bus friendly' this arrangement will be.
