In the NSW Budget on 8 June it was announced that there will be $7 billion allocated to transport, putting into action the 10-year Metropolitan Transport Plan.rnBusesrn1. There will be over $1.1 billion provided towards bus services in 2010-11, an increase of more than $143.9 million on 2009-10;rn2. $49.3 million will be spent replacing 87 older State Transit buses;rn3. $51.6 million will be spent on the purchase of 119 replacement buses for private operators in Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan areas.
