A New Passenger Line for Brisbane

A number of projects have been underway on the QR Citytrain network since 2006. These have occurred on several corridors with several projects. On the Beenleigh/Gold Coast Line the triplication Salisbury to Kuraby, the duplication of most sections south of Beenleigh and southward extension to Varsity Lakes have all been completed. The duplication between Keperra and Mitchelton on the Ferny Grove Line was completed in 2008 and stage 1 of duplication from Caboolture to Landsborough on the North Coast Line was completed to Beerburrum in 2009.
