Adelaide tram extensions and other works

The City Tramline extension was announced on 5 July 2016 as the first stage of the larger AdeLINK tram network, which includes the EastLINK and CityLINK extensions, proposed in the Integrated Transport and Land Use Plan. The extension will feature three new stops servicing the universities and future development precinct at the Old Royal Adelaide Hospital site. The extension forms Stage One of EastLINK, with future stages planned through Kent Town to the Eastern suburbs. The extension also marks the first stage in the CityLINK loop around the CBD.
