More on Wynyard Walk and Wynyard Station

The Clarence Street entrance to Wynyard Walk opened shortly before Christmas as seen in this Tony Bailey photograph from 23 December 2016. There seems to be a major effort underway to make Wynyard the 'showpiece' CBO station, which is reflected in the standard of finish of the Wynyard Walk, and in the lighting and surrounds seen here. It is unfortunate that little can be done to the platforms to bring them to the same standard. In this photograph the escalators are rising from Wynyard Walk to a mezzanine level, behind the windows above. The stairs to the right are part of the Wynyard Walk heading towards its tunnel end at Napoleon Place.
