摘要

The aim of the present study is to present improvements of mechanical seal performances of use under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. Existing mechanical seals subjected to both high and low pressure show unstable leak rate and sliding reliability. We consider the deformation of pressurized seal rings by calculations and experiments, and derive the shape of a seal ring without tilting deformation from experimental data.
