Dynamic behavior of continuous bulk handling equipment (2nd report, digging resistance in side cutting)

For the design of continuous bulk handling equipment, it is important to estimate the digging resistance exactly especially in side cutting. In this report, the digging resistance of ore in side cutting has been studied from experiments using a full-scale testing machine. Then, both front digging resistance and lateral digging resistance were examined.
