摘要

Numerical simulation, which can be used to examine flow fields quantitatively and in detail, has become very important recently. However, a numerical method which agrees well with the experi- mental results has not yet been established. This is due to the lock of resolution in complicated flow patterns containing numerous shocks. In the present work, an adaptive refinement/coarsening algorithm is developed and applied to transient shocked flows over single and double wedges.
