摘要

H~∞ feedback tracking control has been studied for a flexible space structure consisting of a main rigid body equipped with a flexible beam. The reference trajectory, which is followed by the H~∞ feedback, is generated by the minimum bending moment control, which evaluates the bending moment at the root of the beam in order to avoid a large deflection induced on the flexible appendage. The experimental results show that the proposed control scheme is effective in tracking the reference trajectory, suppressing residual vibrations, and avoiding large bending moments that might damage the flexible appendage.
