摘要

In this paper, we introduce a quantification method for fault coverage of digital systems. The proposed method uses FMEA as the starting point of the quantification of fault coverage, and is a hybrid method combining mathematical analysis and computer simulation such as VHDL. Even though the regulation body's acceptance of the results from computer simulations is still a challenge, we believe that the proposed method is quite practical for the quantification of fault coverage in digital systems.
