Application of Hilbert-Huang Transform for Acoustic Signal Analysis for Steam Generator Structural Integrity Diagnosis

The Hilbert-Huang transform of acoustic guided waves has been highly successful in monitoring structural defects in flat plates and tubular specimens. Intrinsic features of defective specimens are revealed through the HHT of Lamb wave signals. There are many other applications of HHT including de-noising of signals from nonlinear systems.
