摘要

Comparison between RBHT transient uncovery data and TRACE showed good agreement with respect to the axial bundle void fraction, two-phase mixture level at heatup, and collapsed liquid level. It also showed good agreement with respect to the PCT at lower bundle elevations whereas over-prediction of the PCT at higher elevations is conservative and may be due to a lack of grid models in TRACE, since grids provide an enhance cooling effect.
