摘要

The AMSBR is a viable and effective candidate for use as an advanced waste burner reactor. The inherent operating characteristics unique to circulating fuel reactors and more specifically molten salt reactors affords the capability to couple online fuel processing, superior safety parameters, and the potential to operate at high power levels. These properties combined with the superior burnup and significant waste reduction capabilities warrant its consideration as a candidate for incorporation into the GNEP fuel cycle.
