摘要

This study has clarified the safety characteristics of the SWFR under ATWS conditions. Due to the small coolant density coefficient and the high power density, the criterion of the cladding temperature is not satisfied at the loss-of-flow events without an alternative action. However, it is satisfied with margin when initiating the ADS as an alternative action. Mitigation of ATWS events with alternative actions is the same principle as that of LWRs.
