摘要

The accuracy of the pin-by-pin fine mesh core calculation method is verified in 2x2 assembly geometry of BWR including staggered mesh at assembly boundary. Three different spatial discretization methods, i.e. the finite-difference, the semi-analytic nodal method, the semi-analytic nodal method with SSS, are tested in the framework of the SP3 theory. Calculation results indicate that the semi-analytic nodal method with SSS can accurately predicts k-infinity and pin-by-pin fission rate distribution of the 2x2 assembly geometry. Further investigation that confirms feasibility of the present method is under progress.
