From NDE to prognostics: a revolution in asset management for Advanced Nuclear Power Plants

The adoption of advanced diagnostic and prognostic technologies for Generation Ⅳ nuclear power plants can significantly impact plant economics. To deploy such systems it is necessary to demonstrate methodologies; understand stressors, sensors, communication, and analysis; and quantify uncertainty in remaining life prediction.
