摘要

Fire modeling is a technique used to analyze the hazards and risks associated with fires in buildings. Computer fire models are invaluable tools with a wide range of uses in fire protection (FP) applications.2 Many building and fire regulations, including 10 CFR 50.48(c), allow use of computer fire modeling as part of risk-informed/performance-based (RI/PB) fire safety designs to help bridge the gap between building functionality and the regulations. [1] A large number of computer fire models have been developed recently, indicating the interest of researchers in this field.
