Error Sources Considered in the 'UMAE Driven' CIAU Methodology

摘要

Key issues for the application of uncertainty methods within the licensing processes of Nuclear Power Plants, i.e. 'pursuing the BEPU (Best Estimate Plus Uncertainty) approach', are constituted by the qualification and the demonstration of qualification of those methods. Bases for the qualification are the availability of experimental data and robust/reproducible procedures for the application of the uncertainty methods.
