摘要

Experimental studies on the development of local two-phase flow parameters are essential to the development of dynamic models for interfacial transport. In particular, investigation on the effects of cross-section geometry, channel orientation, and flow restrictions are necessary. Such dynamic models can be implemented into nuclear reactor thermal-hydraulic safety codes to overcome shortcomings of thestatic flow regime-basedapproaches. In view of these, the current work focuses on studyingthe geometric effects of 90-degree vertical elbows on two-phase flow parameters in combinatorial channels.
