摘要

During the operation of a nuclear power plant, gas is accumulated in its fluid systems. Several gas intrusion mechanisms can result in gas accumulation in system piping, and some gas may come out of solution due to changes in temperature and pressure during the plant operation. However, the existence of gas in piping system is not a condition that was accounted for in the initial analyses of system performance during transients and accidents.
