摘要

In practical thermal-hydraulic systems, the coolant flows through channels of different sizes and orientations that are connected through various flow restrictions. These system geometric features can significantly alter the transport characteristics of single and two-phase flows. Therefore, investigation of channel geometric effects is required to improve the design and analysis of energy systems. As such, the objective of this work is to investigate the effects of a 90° vertical-upward elbow on air-water bubbly flow.
