Managing Nuclear Technology: An Experiment in Applying the Science: Systems: Society Educational Triad

Managing Nuclear Technology achieved all of its learning objectives. Members of the review panel judged the experiment a success. The students' overall assessment of the class was also favorable, though it is noteworthy that the evaluations were more heterogeneous than for previous offerings of the class in the traditional lecture-style format, with some students exhibiting great enthusiasm for the new approach while a small minority gave it negative reviews. Opportunities for improvement have been identified, and the experiment will likely be repeated in future years.
