摘要

Neutronic simulations have been initiated of the PULSTAR reactor in support of its power upgrade from 1 to 2 MW. At this stage, MCNPX results show good agreement with SAR limits and the collected data for the PULSTAR core in its first configuration (SCI). Depletion calculations and simulations will follow to ensure model fidelity for predicting core behavior for recent and future configurations.
