摘要

A novel hybrid MC/deterministic technique that dramatically speeds up the MC transport simulations of the SDDR R2S calculations is currently under development and investigation. Using a simplified example, preliminarily results showed that the use of the hybrid MC/deterministic technique enhanced the efficiency of the neutron MC simulation of the SDDR calculation by a factor of >550 compared to the standard FW-CADIS/CADIS approach and that the increase over analog MC is higher than 10,000. The application of this hybrid technique to realistic SDDR problems and the development of methods for propagating the uncertainties from the photon source to the final SDDR are currently under way.
