摘要

A consistent model for the simulation of boiling flows has been presented and compared to experimental data. The model accounts for heat transfer enhancement due to condensation of attached bubbles and well-predicts both the local and average vapor volume fractions, and liquid subcoolings. The model has been applied to flows in reactor core geometries. Due to the demonstrated success for various geometries, fluids, pressures, and conditions, it is reasonable to conclude the results for the 3×3 pin array are consistent.
