摘要

A literature review of the thermophysical properties of flibe has been summarized. The data available is very limited, both in amount of experimental work, number of data points, and range of temperatures considered. Based on the review of the cuurrent literature, both experimental data and correlations, recommended correlations for each property are presented for use in FHTR design analyses at MIT. The thermophysical property data for flibe, usually expressed in 'measured value ± percent uncertainty,' gives the error of the experimental measurements. The uncertainty applies to the temperature range listed. A summary of the recommended density, viscosity, thermal conductivity, and heat capacity and their corresponding uncertainty and applicable temperature ranges are listed in Table Ⅳ. It is recommended that more experiments are conducted to improve the database of thermophysical properties of flibe and reduce its uncertainties. Future work will examine the uncertainties reported and determine a recommended confidence level and standard deviation to be used in uncertainty propagation analyses.
