Air-water two-phase flows in a one-fifth scale model of the separator of a BWR and its separator performance were experimentally investigated. The carry-over strongly depends on J_G but not on J_L except at low J_G. The carry-under strongly depends on J_L but not on J_G. The major sources of the pressure drop in the separator are the swirler and the 1st POR, whereas pressure drops at the 2nd and 3rd POR are much lower than the formers.
