摘要

Compared with nuclear fission, fusion is generally held to be a safer, cleaner power source, and an ultimate solution for energy crisis and environment issues. Especially, the elimination of off-site evacuation is widely an expectation from the public for a fusion power plant (FPP), which is even stated in the United States Department of Energy (DOE)'s standard for magnetic fusion facilities [1].
