摘要

This paper presents an application of Bayesian networks to the nuclear industry to aid O&M decision-making. Bayesian networks enable the decision-maker to make risk-informed decisions in the presence of uncertainty. This network, and any addition to it, will allow the NPP to perform "what-if" analysis to identify scenarios for optimal outcomes. By apply-ing Bayesian networks to O&M challenges, decision-makers will be able to improve plant operations and profitability.
