摘要

The research described in this paper aids in addressing some of the challenges associated with the deployment of a DAS network in a nuclear power plant environment. More specifically, the development of a non-intrusive test method for existing or new wireless networks was introduced to quantitatively determine the effectiveness of different frequency bands and modulation types throughout a DAS network. These non-intrusive tests may be efficiently performed using a specialized software tool developed by the authors. Although the initial prototype of the WDDA software tool is complete, improvements are being made to enhance its functionality and usability, including further automation of testing and evaluation of results. Additionally, proof-of-concept validation and in-plant demonstration of the WWDA software tool will be performed as part of this research and development project.
