摘要

Most nuclear reactors in operation use wired sensors for measuring properties such as temperature and pressure. However, these wired sensors degrade over time and require maintenance that dissipates both time and money [1]. They also must have electric feedthroughs penetrating pressure barriers, such as fuel cladding or test vessels, to receive power and transmit data. In order to alleviate these problems, wireless sensors are being developed as an alternative for use in reactors. A prototype has already been created using a linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) as the sensing component due to their high linearity and low uncertainty measurement capabilities [2].
