摘要

Radioactivity surveillance and monitoring in complex and dynamic radiation fields is one of the most important, yet challenging problems within the field of environmental radioactivity monitoring. Therefore, continuous efforts in developing and testing new technologies in this field is of vital importance. Several efforts in this regard have illustrated the importance of the development on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) usage in disaster-related remote surveillance [1-3]. For example, in the wake of the Fukushima NPP disaster, drones and remote surveillance techniques played a vital role in the dose and radiation dispersion mapping after the event [4-6].
