摘要

Wireless sensor is of great interest in nuclear reactor applications. Eliminating the need for cables will enable in-pile measurements otherwise not possible, improving the reliability, safety and efficiency of nuclear systems [1]. In particular, wireless signal transfer through fuel cladding will retain cladding integrity, thus eliminating cable feedthroughs issues. Wireless sensors do face similar challenges from irradiation, high pressure and high temperature. For example, an electrical resistor may change its value as the material structure will change under irradiation.
