摘要

The measured heat capacities of the stainless steel 316L and Inconel samples were similar to theoretical values. The measured values for the thermal diffusivity of the AM samples were greater than the reference values for comparable wrought materials. Thus, the calculated thermal conductivity values for all of the samples were also higher than the reference values. Based on a detailed analysis of the SS-P2 samples, the thermophysical properties of the AM samples appear to be isotropic. Future work will include additional thermal diffusivity measurements for all of the materials beyond SS-P2 to verify that the thermophysical properties of all of the AM materials are isotropic. This additional work will include testing of wrought materials to provide better reference values.
