Development of Experimental Capabilities for Fuels and Materials Testing in the Versatile Test Reactor

A robust experiment capability development effort is being conducted in parallel with the design of the versatile test reactor (VTR) to ensure delivery of a flexible test platform that can be adapted to support a wide variety of experimental users. Near term focus is on identification of critical interfaces required to support these capabilities and the development of advanced experimental techniques and technology to enhance them.
